FEB 9, 2019 • Farm in the Dell of the Red River Valley, a non-profit garden and worksite for people with disabilities, is pleased to announce that Alyssa Knecht has recently been named their Executive Director.
She will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the 25 acre farm located 5 miles north of Moorhead. This includes working to transform disabilities into abilities through meaningful work at a competitive wage in a loving and faith- based environment. She'll oversee the CSA(Community Supported Agriculture) program, Farmer's Market, community events like the annual Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch, and fundraising. Alyssa has experience in working with people with disabilities, gardening, 4-H and Fine Arts Education. She and her husband, Robert and family reside on a hobby farm near Hawley.
