Farm Manager
Farm in the Dell is hiring a Farm Manager!
The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of gardening and horticulture, experience with farm operations and management, and a deep passion for the mission and work of Farm in the Dell.
The Farm Manager will serve as a vital asset to the organization by overseeing and managing high-level and day-to-day operations of the garden spaces, garden team, and facilities.
Lead Garden Supervisor
Ages 18+ | April through October
Farm in the Dell is seeking a Lead Garden Supervisor who will work closely with the Farm Manager to help lead efforts in the garden and oversee our Garden Team!
The Lead Garden Supervisor will act as a critical part of the team, helping to lead the organization in the planning and implementing of garden plans, Garden Team tasks, produce distribution, supply maintenance, compliance practices, daily workflows, and team communication.
Garden Supervisors
Ages 18+ | April through October
Each season we hire Garden Supervisor positions, individuals who work with the Garden Manager to help lead efforts in the garden and oversee our teams of Garden Engineers.
Garden Supervisors are not direct supervisors to employees, but more so act as a “shift supervisor” while working. Tasks generally include leading teams in planting, weeding, harvesting, washing, and packing. Additionally, they may be asked to supervise stations at Farmers Markets and/or CSA pick-up locations.
Garden Engineers
Ages 16+ | Mid-May through Mid-October
Garden Engineers - our employees with disabilities - are at the heart of everything we do.
Experience firsthand the joys of producing a bountiful harvest, while working together on farm and garden tasks like planting, weeding, harvesting, washing, packing, and more.
Working alongside our devoted supervisors and volunteers who support them in their employment journey, they truly have the opportunity to discover their passions, strengths, and abilities.
