This year, Farm in the Dell had the awesome privilege of being part of Bobcat Community Days - and we are over the moon with gratitude for their help!
During this annual initiative, Doosan Bobcat employees across the country are encouraged to volunteer. Bobcat is committed to giving back to the communities in which they work, and we are grateful to be a part of their efforts!
In addition to lending a helping hand to complete that day's garden tasks - like harvesting, weeding, and readying our weekly market - they brought out Bobcat equipment to do some "heavy lifting" on the farm!
Moved heavy, bulky items in our barn that we could not have transported without specialized equipment.
Built a new driveway and spread additional gravel in our parking lot, improving accessibility for individuals with mobility difficulties and boosting ease of access to our facilities.
Tilled up more acreage in our fields, allowing us to expand the garden into previously un-cultivated sections of our farm.
